HOS
In collaboration with Gandia Blasco, we presented furniture and spaces themed around recycling at the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
Building upon the GOZ collection, which weaves wool and wood together, we designed a universal system that integrates furniture and space based on the act of “weaving,” using recycled PET material as the primary component.
By weaving together slender wooden frames reminiscent of traditional Japanese architecture and recycled materials, the design encompasses all essential elements for living, from chairs to partitions.
HOS means “to dry.” The act of drying harvested rice straw on wooden frames symbolizes the Japanese countryside and its natural landscapes.
